Our half-day Business Startup Seminar takes place on the 2nd Thursday of every month.

This Seminar is for individuals thinking of starting a business, new to self-employment or presently trading but wish to improve their business practices.

The Seminar is delivered in a simple and practical way. Learn and understand:

  • Marketing & Market research
  • Sales
  • Tax/National Insurance/VAT
  • Financial Forecasts – Cashflow, Profit & Loss
  • Access to finance

 1 Day Business Planning Workshop

All good businesses have business plans, but writing a practical business plan can be a difficult task for those starting, or running a business. 

In this 1-day Workshop, we will help you to write your business plan and assess the resources your business needs to start or develop.

Who should attend?

  • Anyone starting, or running a business

What will it cover?

  • Access to £inance – grants, loans
  • Tax, VAT, National Insurance
  • Market Research & Marketing
  • Profit & Loss, and Cashflow Forecasting
  • Business Plan format and purpose (for £inance, guide…)

At the end of this Workshop, you will have the information, knowledge and confidence to write your business plan.
