Traditional methods of recruiting clients such as leaflet drops, newspaper advertising, emails and mail outs often fall short of bringing in the numbers required to meet agreed targets. ABi has successfully adopted business engagement and outreach strategies on many projects to boost client participation and involvement. 

For example, companies may be visited in their place of business or other convenient locations and given a quick and simple guide to the services being offered. This approach allows the potential client to put a face to the proposal and any initial doubts can often be dealt be with on the spot. Further details will be available on project leaflets and other documentation, which can be left by our team. Where appropriate, ABi will also identify and work with local community members or ‘business champions’ who will often provide a ‘warmer route’ to accessing new clients and new businesses. 

ABi’s business engagement and outreach approach also provides an opportunity for our team to quickly assess what the other needs of the client may be. Where appropriate, clients can be signposted to other offers or services, which may be available now, or in the future.

Access to potential clients can also be provided through our highly successful networking events, which provides a chance for individuals and businesses to get together in a relaxed and informal setting.

 

ABi developed a successful business engagement programme for our clients on the Park Royal industrial estate which included outreach, follow up visits and networking events.
